What does Coordinate Studio add to a Shopify store?
Coordinate Studio adds a guided location-personalization experience to selected products. Shoppers approve a product-specific preview before the real Shopify variant is added to cart.
Which products can I personalize?
You choose which Shopify products and variants to import. Each supported variant needs an approved product image, measured engraving area, safe margin, and preview placement before publication.
Does Coordinate Studio replace Shopify checkout?
No. Shopify remains responsible for product price, discounts, tax, checkout, payment, customer records, and fulfillment.
Are previews guaranteed to match the finished material?
Previews preserve the approved product image and calibrated placement, but screens cannot guarantee exact physical color, reflectivity, texture, or engraving depth. Operators must review the production file and completed item.
Does the app control an engraving machine?
No. Coordinate Studio generates private SVG files and a production job for operator review. It does not send commands directly to engraving equipment.
What customer data is copied from Shopify orders?
The production workflow stores the minimum order and design projection needed to fulfill personalization. It does not copy the buyer name, email, phone number, or shipping address into the production record.
What happens when I reach my included SVG export allowance?
Until Shopify verifies the usage-billing meter, the app stops additional production exports at the plan allowance and directs the merchant to choose a higher plan. It never creates unbilled overage usage.
What storefront requirement does the app have?
The first release requires a Shopify Online Store theme that supports theme app blocks. Products without the Coordinate Studio block remain ordinary Shopify products.
