1. Install and choose a plan
Install Coordinate Studio from Shopify, approve the requested access, and choose a hosted pricing plan. The app identifies the store through Shopify; do not enter API keys or access tokens into the interface.
2. Import selected products
Open Products and import only the products and variants that will offer location personalization. Coordinate Studio preserves the Shopify title, variant identity, and selected product image.
3. Calibrate each engraving area
Measure the physical engraving width and height in millimeters, define the safe margin, choose compatible templates, and place the overlay on the approved product image. Do not publish a variant until the preview matches the real item.
4. Enable the theme app block
Use the theme-editor link from Coordinate Studio to add the personalization block to the intended product template. Products without the block keep their normal Shopify purchase flow.
5. Test the shopper experience
On the storefront, enter a synthetic location and personalization, inspect every spelling and coordinate, approve the preview, and add the real variant to cart. Complete checkout using Shopify's supported test method.
6. Review the paid production job
After payment, open Orders and inspect the immutable approved design. Mark the job ready, generate the private SVG, download it, and complete the operator quality-control checklist before production.
7. Verify failure and recovery paths
Pause and resume personalization, confirm ordinary Shopify purchasing still works, verify refunds stop unstarted work where safe, and test uninstall and reinstall before launching to buyers.
